The seller is required to sight the buyer's firearms licence and required documentation.
Tranquilizer Dart gun built on a Russian Baikal 12 gauge shotgun platform. This work was done by the master riflesmith Robbie Tiffen of Gunworks.
As shown by the photos this is a 12g shotgun that has an insert to convert it to a tranquiliser gun. The insert can be removed in a couple seconds to allow you to use as a shotgun. (You can have a solid slug as a back up if the situation gets out of hand).
There are 4 "cartridges". Two accept Ramset .22 cal blanks (there are different grades of these) and the other two take shotgun primers. Which cartridge you use will depend on the range and weight of dart and drug you are shooting.
This gun takes 13mm darts available from Paxarms in Timaru. Unfortunately I don't have any to include in this auction. They also sell practise darts.
Gun comes with the Weaver style scope mount shown.
Overall condition of the stock and metalwork is very good. Overall length is approx 95cm.
