Canterbury Kayaking provides you with New Zealand’s premier Grade 2 Certificate Kayak Course for first-time paddlers and multisport athletes doing the Coast to Coast Race.

Based out of Christchurch, you will receive four full days of world class kayak instruction from a highly qualified kayak coach. Our Grade 2 Certificate Kayak Course has been professionally developed to help you learn quickly and start enjoying grade 2 river kayaking from an early stage.

Canterbury Kayaking coaches believe in learning to roll, as well as developing correct paddling technique and river confidence right from day-one. We will help you get started with grade 2 kayaking in a safe and supportive environment. We also offer further skills training after your Grade 2 Certificate Course is complete so you can continue to improve with us.
