Good Boat for someone who needs something faster than a sea kayak but doesnt want a super tippy boat yet. Intermediate or confident beginner. I am 6 foot 5 and just fit this boat but is perfect for my friend who is 5 foot 10 and 75 kilo. I paddled down the Rakaia happily after paddling a super stable Barracuda in the coast to coast and needed to step up. Since I have had it it has done 4 river trips with no big knocks. I am getting rid of it to eliminate a hobby and focus more on another one - hunting. Too nicer toy to be sitting dormant in the garage.
