POC Fornix Helmet POC’s Fornix Ski and Snowboard helmet features an in-mold design which ensures the head sits closely and comfortably to the EPS foam material so not only is the helmet very light in weight, but also in the event of a fall the head will be protected and absorb the impact very well. The Fornix also uses an Aramid material which bridges the EPS foam design inside the helmet (Aramid is the same material used in bullet proof vests), this design feature increases the helmets structural stability and in the event of an accident, the energy is spread over a larger surface area of the helmet, giving the helmet better energy absorption and reducing further injury to the head.
