Bar billiards is a slate bed table including score board, cues, balls, mushrooms/skittles and chalk. Also included are conditions of play. Bar billiards is a traditional English game played in pubs since the 1930s. It is however a great addition to the games room or rumpus room to keep the family entertained. It does not require a lot of space like a pool table does. It is 1.8m long & 0.9m wide but can be placed in a corner or up against a wall as it is only played from 1 end. It can be played by 1 or 2 persons or in pairs etc. The idea of the game is to score the highest number of points by potting the balls in the holes on the table. It is a game of skill. Each hole has its own score value & the player/team with the highest score wins. The table is coin operated but can be played without the coin box on or you can use it as a "piggy bank" for saving for a holiday, a car or special event.
