This item is an original selection letter for Edwin Emley to play for the Northumberland County Rugby Union sent on the 13th January 1891. It is extremely rare.

The form letter is in very good condition the the image as per the listing picture with the other side being addressed and with a franked postage stamp.

This letter also comes with a small original newspaper clipping that reports on the match Emley was selected for.
