SURFBOARD 6'1". The Switch Blade is something I designed to fit in between a high performance board and a fish. It is a little small wave performer that the team can use in competition and have a lot of fun doing so. It was a big hit amongst the team this year, Mick surfed it through most of the Burleigh Breaka competition and Jordy Smith was riding a 5'11 in the small conditions at Manly.

The design is a little wider and thicker than your standard performance model and combines a low rocker throughout with a single concave, for quick pick up and heaps of speed through the flat sections. The medium rail allows you to put it on rail easily and the wide diamond tail creates the perfect balance of hold and release. I glass this model with carbon toe patches for extra strength, as the team seem to spend more time putting this model in the air than on rail.

This model is ideal if you are looking for an easy paddling small wave performer that has lots of speed and performance packed in.
