Affordable Computer was established in 2003 with the ambition to become the best one stop shop for computers, electronics, consumables, and repairs. We strive to offer the highest quality products and services at low, affordable prices.

Price:

All prices are GST inclusive and exclude freight. GST invoices will be provided with all purchases.

  • Electronic Banking, Direct Credit, and Telephone Transfer: (Please ensure the auction number is used as a reference against the deposit. If you do not put the auction reference number against the deposit, it might take longer for your goods to be dispatched.)

  • PayNow through Trademe. Pick-up customers pay with PayNow must bring payment receipt and/or show photo ID on pick-up.
  • EFTPOS, Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard) and Cash accepted for instore pick up.
  • Payment must be made within 5 days of auction/sale finishing unless with prior arrangement.
  • All goods supplied remain property of Affordable Computer Repair and Service Ltd until payment has been received in full.

Delivery:

All shipping/handling charges are stated in the auction details. We are happy to combine postage on most products. If you want to purchase more than one item from us, just ask a question. All items are securely packed and well labeled. You must check the item immediately and report any damages or faults to us by e-mail within 48hrs of having received the item. Please specify the item title and invoice number. We reserve the rights to refuse any claims that are made after this time frame.If you haven’t received your order within 3 Working days of payment, please contact us and we will follow up your order.

Customers with Rural Delivery addresses fail to disclose or pay extra R.D. courier fee will be billed for the R.D. courier ticket, or the goods will be held or sent by Standard Post/Parcel Post at buyers’ risk.

Warranty:

  • All our products are provided with a written warranty as specified in the auction and/or stated on the invoice. All faulty products return during warranty period must have a Return Authorised Number issued by us. Faulty product must be received by us before warranty expires.
  • We will repair/replace the faulty products under warranty. If a product is not repairable and no similar product available to replace the original product, we will provide a full refund under the Sale of Goods Act and Consumer Guarantees Act.
  • Warranty claims must have original invoice as proof of purchase.
  • Products that have been repaired / replaced will be under warranty for the remainder of the warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.

Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Normal wear & tear.
  • Damage from using goods for a purpose for which they were not designed.
  • Damage from neglect or careless storage.
  • Damage from having unauthorised repairs carried out.

Returns and Refunds:

  • We offer 7 days money back guarantee (unless “cannot be returned” or “non refundable” is specified in the auction). Returned Product must be in original condition. For opened box products, returns will be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. Freight charges will not be credited under any circumstances. No refund will be given after 7 working days of order dispatched.
  • We offer a 14 days exchange policy. You can exchange your purchase within 14 days of dispatched for an equal or higher value product and pay any price difference.
  • You will be liable for all delivery and insurance charges incurred in respect of returned goods.
  • Software products and consumable products cannot be refunded/exchanged once they are opened.

Governing Law:

These Conditions of Sale and/or Service shall in all respects be governed by and construed with the Laws of New Zealand and in the event of a dispute arising, any proceedings shall be held in Christchurch.
