Pickups
Pickups are welcome by arrangement from Wellington CBD during normal business hours ( Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm ).

Outside these hours for urgent requirements please ask via question as we can often make alternative arrangements (although please don’t be offended if we cannot meet your request ….. Thanks ).

Customer Service
All emails, questions & queries will be answered 7 days a week. We aim to respond within 4 working hours but outside business hours may be slightly longer Please check your junk box, spam & pop-up filters if you do not receive a response with 24 hours. If we are a bit slow in responding we apologise as we might be out enjoying the lovely Wellington trails or mid way through a 24 hr bike event.

GST/TAX Invoices
We are GST registered and will email you a GST Tax invoice with every purchase Please keep it safe as it contains all our details and is proof of purchase.

Courier Deliveries
To ensure prompt dispatch please advise delivery address via trade me & not via email as our warehouse staff do not have access to emails.

All Courier Deliveries dispatched within 1 working day of payment receipt however delays can occasionally occur in which case we will notify you.

Deliveries are sent via NZ Post Courier post service which is a tracked service There is no additional charge for Rural delivery.

Please note that once items are dispatched we have no control over any delivery delays in the NZ post network.

Payment Instructions
Payment Instructions are automatically sent to all winning bidders within a few minutes of auctions closing and we ask that payment is made in full within 3 working days.

Payment online via Trade me website is the recommended method as we receive confirmation of the payment immediately.

If paying via bank deposit please ensure that you include the exact auction number on all deposits to avoid confusion. It may take a couple of days for your payment to appear at our end if you don’t deposit via ASB.

Payment on pickup is also welcome ( CASH ONLY )

Feedback
We will leave feedback within 48 hours of dispatch. We ask you to please leave feedback upon receipt of your items.

In line with Trademe policies we request that you contact us directly if you have any problems BEFORE leaving negative feedback. We will always do our utmost to resolve any problems however we cannot do this if we are not made aware of any issues.


Store Policies


Warranty Conditions:

  1. All items are covered by a minimum 1 year warranty
  2. Please contact us via email if you wish to return any item
  3. The Buyer must check the item(s) immediately after delivery and report any transit damage by email within 24hrs of receiving the item. Bicycle Spares reserves the right to refuse courier claims that are made after this time frame.
  4. If you believe you have a warranty claim please email us 1st & then return to us via tracked courier for warranty assessment. Upon receipt Bicycle Spares will assess & if deemed warranty replace or repair where possible with a full refund where this is not possible in a timely manner. If item is assessed by Bicycles Spares & accepted as a warranty original & return postage costs will be refunded if applicable
  5. If you change your mind about a purchase you are welcome to return for a full refund (Less Postage) providing item is unused & in original packaging … i.e. it is able to be resold. return postage is at buyers expense. Return postage risk is buyers until item is received by bicycle spares
  6. If we send you an incorrect item (We are human & it does happen very occasionally!) please contact us. We will dispatch correct item with a return courier bag for the incorrect item
  7. Products must be returned with all accessories including their original packing materials, cartons and boxes.
  8. Warranties are not transferable beyond the original buyer.
  9. Warranty valid in New Zealand only.
  10. Bicycle Spares adheres to the Consumers Guarantees & Fair Trading Acts along with Trade Me's Standard Trading Terms and Conditions

  12. Warranty & returns do not cover:
    a. Bonus accessory items such as batteries and storage bags & cases.
    b. Incorrect assembly, misuse, abuse or use of a product for which it was not designed.
    c. Neglect and careless storage.
    d. Unauthorised repairs.
