About the Store
Driving Sound Mt Eden is one of NZ’s largest and longest lasting Car Audio and Security stores.
Established in 1980’s, Driving Sound Mt Eden has been serving the NZ community ever since, specialising in car audio and security systems. We also sell remotes for car alarms and garage doors as we frequently get asked for our extended expertise and service. We have a full range of car audio systems and carry some of the best and biggest brands such as Alpine, Sony, JVC, Pioneer, Fusion, Earthquake, JBL, Infinity, Rockford Fosgate, Boss, Bazooka, Kicker, Stinger Accessory range, DNA accessory range with Mongoose Car Alarm and Bel Radar detector range as well.
We not only sell, but also provide on-site installation service as well. We install everything we sell, and our installers are fully qualified in this field. We are minutes away from St Luke’s mall also, so you can go shopping or catch a coffee at our local coffee shops nearby such as Columbus cafe etc.

While a wide range of our products is listed on trademe, we still provide a much wider range in-store, and also are able to order in specific products on request. We have one of the biggest ranges of products in Auckland and are always making sure we have the most competitive pricing in the market. You will not be disappointed!
We have a full time installer onsite so will be happy to give you any advice or answer any questions you may have regarding your vehicle for fitting a new system. With newer cars, coming built-in dash systems, it is preferable to visit in-store and checkout with my installer as to what could be done. That’s what we are here for!
All purchases require Auction number and name for our reference. This makes it easier to track down the sales and payments. Please always forward us your physical delivery address, rather than p.o.box, (NO p.o.box) please.

We use NZ Post and Fastway Couriers for all shipping. We aim to get the goods despatched within 24 hours once the payment has been received.
Pickup is more than welcome.
During public holidays and Sundays, nothing will be shipped. You will have to wait till the next available working day.
We provide a tax invoice for every sale. You will receive the invoice with the products you have purchased.
We take the following forms of payment:

We also accept Q card, but goods must be collected from in-store and ID to be sighted.
FINANCE AVAILABLE (TAP) – Please make prior arrangement before purchasing
LAYBY – we can offer up to 3months maximum. We have a right to charge 10percent holding/restocking fee should you choose to cancel your layby for which ever reason.
For example – My dog jumped on the keyboard and hit the buy now button.
Contacting is usually done in the working day should the auction fall in the weekend.
Driving Sound will fulfil all of our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Images are for reference use only. Colours may vary.
· No warranty on stuff you set fire to or blew up because of poor installation. This is easy for us to spot, the burned smell or charred remains are normally dead giveaways.
· No warranty on any gear going on boats. Salt and fresh water is unfriendly to electrical stuff; you need a proper marine radio (which we can list if you want one).
· No warranty if you to wire 12 volt gear into 24 volt 4WD's without a transformer.
· No warranty if you play your subs and speakers so loud that you melt your voice coils.
Goods are not returnable simply because you have changed your mind or the wife doesn’t approve of it J
We aim for 100% customer satisfaction, in the unlikely event that an item arrives faulty, we will replace or exchange if your item has been damaged/defective. You must notify us within 7 days of receiving the item. If your item is unable to be replaced, we will offer you a refund. We will do our best to resolve your problems as quickly as possible.
It is the customer’s responsibility to return goods for any reason. If it is a warranty issue, we will refund the freight charges once we receive the goods back.
Privacy is very important to us: we will never pass your personal information to any third party. You can by with confidence from us.
