This is the aim of Greenmachine as a Wholesale Native Plant Nursery where we promise to make your plant shopping quick, easy, affordable and enjoyable. We specialise in internet sales. This means we have, for many years, been supplying plants directly from the nursery straight to the customer's door. This cuts out the middle man meaning a better deal for you, and a supply of the plants you want quickly, and of a quality you expect. Our range includes the tough 'standard' natives you would expect to be suitable for farm or lifestyle block shelter. In addition we have a huge range of fancy garden cultivars that have been bred specifically for smaller garden situations where premium colour and form are important. You will find we have a huge range of Grasses, Tussocks, Flaxes, Astelias, Hebes, Alpines, Shrubs (From Dwarf to Large), Trees, Hedges and Shelter Belts. Our plants range in size from Budget Grade to Large. If you are having trouble finding something specific, or need help in any way please do not hesitate to contact us. We can source almost any quantity of any native plant you might want, so please ask if there is something in particular you are looking for. Pick Ups Pick Ups strictly by appointment, preferably standard working day, minimum purchase for Pick Up by appointment = $100 Customer Service: We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. Always happy to advise on your special planting needs, and help with any plant related questions. We have an excellent track record of despatching orders quickly and getting them correct. However in the unlikely event you experience problems with your shipment please let us know before you place feedback and we will try our best to remedy this for you. Most concerns can be resolved quickly to everyone’s satisfaction. Quality Assurance: We are a commercial nursery that operates within proper industry standards and guidelines to ensure all plants are grown to a professional standard. Some of our competitors cut corners and sell a cheaper plant, this is reflected in the quality, and often the few cents saved now will be regretted for years to come with poor performing plants. We believe our plants are the best value for money offered on top quality plants, and we promise you will be happy with the performance of our plants now and in the future. Plants are grown in top quality potting mix with 9 month slow release fertiliser to ensure they keep growing once planted. Listings have a picture of an example plant for sale, next to a ruler (cms) to indicate the approximate size of the plant. Beware of sellers who only show mature specimens and do not show examples of plant for sale. The grade (pot size) of the plant for sale is always indicated, beware of sellers who do not state this. Because we grow in Southland our plants are tough and will survive almost anywhere. We outdoor grow wherever possible to ensure the plants are as hardy as possible. Payment: Payment is due within 3 days of making purchase. For a smooth, fast and easy transaction we recommend using Trade Me's Pay Now option to pay by credit card. This is safe and easy to use. If you prefer bank transfer our payment instructions will be emailed within a few minutes of the purchase being completed. If you do not receive this please check your spam/junk folder. Please include the Trade Me reference number and your username with payment. We accept Cash or Cheque for pick up orders, and you are most welcome to prepay your order on-line before your visit. Shipping Information: We ship using a 2 day Courier service, allow an extra 1-2 days for rural delivery and rural towns. We have chosen a courier company who has an excellent track record of delivering plants undamaged and in good condition. We use specially designed cartons to minimise damages. We aim to despatch very promptly, generally we despatch within 1 day (Mon-Fri), in most conditions this is not a problem. In some cases, such as extreme hot weather or rural addresses we might only despatch Mon-Wed to avoid plants sitting in depot over weekend. Please advise if your order is urgent to avoid any misunderstandings in this regard. "Metro address" is for all Cities & larger towns + SOME rural towns, this is defined by the courier company. If you are unsure please ask and we will be happy to advise whether the Courier considers your address to be Rural or Metro. Shipping rates quoted are for mainland New Zealand addresses (North and South Islands). We can ship to offshore islands for an additional charge. All shipping rates are PER CARTON, a carton will hold a large number of plants so feel free to combine shipping to minimise shipping charges. Unless advised otherwise we may despatch your order immediately on completion of purchase, therefore please advise immediately if you are considering purchasing other items for combined shipping. A carton generally holds.... 50-64x Budget Grade Plants (7cm -5cm Pot) 25x Medium Grade Plants (9cm Pots) 10x Large Grade Plants (14cm Pot) Of course it is fine to mix the grades but this can become reasonably complicated for calculating shipping, please feel free to ask question to receive advice. If your order is running late please contact us ASAP so we can track and investigate for you. We cannot be held responsible for damage due to non-delivery if you do not advise us of this within a reasonable time frame. Gifts: If you are purchasing items as a gift we can despatch direct to the recipient with an accompanying message from you. Damaged Plants: In the unlikely event your items are damaged in transit please advise immediately upon receiving the plants. We will arrange replacement plants and will collect the damaged plants. Goods must be inspected immediately on arrival and any claims made for damages to be made to us within 48 hours of delivery. Claims will not be accepted where damage has occurred due to the items not being unpacked promptly or where a customer provides insufficient or incorrect delivery details. We cannot be held responsible for plant performance or condition once the plants have been delivered in good condition as so many factors outside our control determine the performance of plants. Seconds & Surplus Plants: We often sell bargain priced clearance and seconds plants through Trade Me. These are often of much lower quality than our top quality 1st grade plants; therefore the same guarantee of quality does not exist as detailed above. These plants are always listed as Seconds or Surplus so you are aware you are not purchasing top quality plants. This is reflected in the price. |
