i-tools is an internet based direct import company that imports quality tools and accessories into New Zealand to sell directly to the public, without agents and middle men taking large profit margins. Our aim is to provide the New Zealand public and trades people a wide choice of products at significantly lower prices.
We realised like most things in New Zealand, quality tools are heavily overpriced compared to other parts of the world. But now you have a choice, and you can buy online and SAVE $$$$! Our products are legitimate branded tools, not copies and come from approved agents overseas.
We are a registered New Zealand company that has been trading since 2003 who will provide you with a legitimate warranty on your goods. We pride ourselves on our top service to our customers and will always try to exceed your expectations, see our feedback to see what our customers really think.
About our Factory Reconditioned Tools
Reconditioned tools are those that have been returned to the manufacturer for a number of reasons. At best it could be part of a kit that was returned by a customer because of an issue with another product (and therefore be brand new) or at worst it was returned due to a fault and has been factory reconditioned by the manufacturer. These tools cannot be sold as new but usually look like new and are as good as new.
We want all our customers to be completely happy with their purchase. We will give all our customers 14 days from the date of delivery to return any product, provided it's unused and in the original packaging as received. We will provide a refund once the goods are received by us.
All our products come with a 12mth i-tools warranty, including our DeWalt factory reconditioned tools. The exception to this is our Milwaukee range which comes with a 5 year manufacturers warranty on all tools and a 2 year manufacturers warranty on batteries. We also offer a loan tool service on all our battery powered tools during any warranty claim. If we are unable to repair the item we will replace it with a new product. Sending the goods to us for a warranty claim is the responsibility of the customer; however we will pay to send either the repaired or new product back to the customer.
Delivery and pick up policy
We aim to despatch all our orders the day that payment is confirmed in our account.
We send all our goods out with a signature required courier to ensure the safety of your delivery. Larger items are couriered with Mainfreight. Unfortunately our courier services will not deliver to P O Boxes so a street address is required for all purchases. Delivery to rural addresses and remote areas can add additional time to the delivery and customers who live in these regions need to be aware their delivery times may be longer.
We are predominantly an internet based business; however we allow pick-ups for local customers by arrangement. If you are interested in pick-up please let us know we will give you a pick up address and we can arrange a mutually acceptable time.
Payment via internet banking or bank deposit is our preferred payment method
