About the Store
From dragons and fairies to butterflies and cast iron homeware, we have gift ideas for any occasion. If you can’t find the perfect ‘something’ feel free to contact us and see whether we have it nestled in a corner of our stockroom.
Jett Industries was established in 2007 to service the home and giftware market. Following the loss of our physical business due to the Christchurch earthquakes we launched our online store on Trademe, and are proud to be an established member of the Trademe ‘mall’.
We offer a free giftwrap service, free layby, and pick up is welcome by appointment, so whether you are looking for that perfect gift, or are in need of a little something for yourself, why not take a browse..........
Payment Instructions are sent automatically through Trademe, and we ask for full payment (or 20% for layby sales) within 5 days of the close of auction. Please make sure to use your auction number as reference, failure to do so may result in a considerable delay whilst we try and match up unreferenced payments
Credit card payments can be made using the PAY NOW facility through Trademe and we will accept cash for pick up items. No cheques sorry.
We are happy to combine shipping. Please email us with the auction numbers that you have won and we will let you know the combined shipping price.
We do not ship to PO Boxes or overseas.
Pick up is welcome by appointment. Our address and a map link will be sent on the payment instructions (you can access this through your items I have won page). We only accept cash payments (no cheques or EFTPOS), although goods can be prepaid through Trademe using PAYNOW if that is easier.
Buyer addresses MUST come through Trademe. This can be done by clicking on the delivery address tab when you win an auction, or by using the delivery address button next to the auction on your items I have won page. Include any selection of colour, scent or style in the notes section at the same time or you will end up with a random item(s) from the selection given.
Please note: we do not ship to PO boxes or overseas.
We offer free lay-by on all purchases over $40, or combined purchases over $40 purchased on the same day. It is a condition of lay-by that a deposit is received within 5 days of the close of auction(s) as set out below:
On purchases under $200 we offer 5 weeks layby (20% deposit within 5 days, with balance over the following 4 weeks).
On purchases over $200 we offer 10 weeks layby (10% deposit within 5 days of close of auction, with balance over the following 9 weeks).
Goods will not be shipped until full payment, included shipping, has been received.
Warranty and Refunds
All sales are covered by the consumer guarantees act.
In the case of faulty/damaged goods:
Breakages must be notified within 24 hours of receipt so that we can instigate a claim with the carriers. A replacement item/refund will be sent/issued as soon as we have had notification from the carrier that the claim will be accepted.
Faulty goods must be returned for inspection. If goods are found to be faulty we will exchange them for an identical item. If that is not available we will refund monies paid, less shipping costs, or offer ‘goods to the value of’ if preferred. Goods must be returned in their original packaging.
If returned goods become damaged in transit on the way back to us your claim may be declined, so please make sure to take care in your packaging. It is the buyer’s responsibility to get goods back to us in good condition.
We will cover outgoing shipping cost of replacement as long as the item is genuinely faulty. If goods are found not to be faulty, or arrive damaged through bad packaging, your claim will be declined and we will require you to pay shipping to have the item returned.
Change of mind purchases
If goods are not faulty or damaged we will accept them back into stock under the following conditions:
Goods must be returned within 7 working days, in their original packaging, and at the expense of the purchaser. A refund of the auction purchase price (less shipping costs and a handling fee of 15%) will be made to the purchaser’s nominated bank account with 2 days of receipt of goods. If returned goods become damaged in transit on the way back to us your refund request may be declined, so please make sure to take care in your packaging. It is the buyer’s responsibility to get goods back to us in good condition. If goods arrive damaged through bad packaging your refund request will be declined and we will require you to pay shipping to have the item returned back to you.
If you are unhappy with your transaction please contact us to discuss this prior to placing feedback, our email address is easily available through the Trademe auction that you have won and our phone number is given on our contact details page. If you chose to place negative feedback without contacting us first we may chose not to trade with you again in future. We like to place happy faces and nice feedback, but will place negative feedback if sales are not completed.
