Laptop Battery NZ Ltd. is a 100% Kiwi owned and operated GST registered company and has been operating since 2004. 


We are the largest supplier of laptop parts in the country (beware of imitators), and are the preferred supplier by leading laptop repair companies with good reason. (If you are needing a reseller account please enquire).

Customer Service

Our customer service team is dedicated and extremely knowledgeable. Please contact us if you have a specific technical query. We aim to answer all questions within quickly and within a business day. Questions received after hours will be actioned first thing the next business day.

Products

All of our products are brand new in their original packaging, unless specifically stated on the auction. A large selection of our laptops are described as 'Factory Refurbished' ; these units are in like-new condition, and are units that have failed quality control at the factory due to a faulty component or very minor cosmetic blemish. These problems are fixed at the factory and are then sold on as 'Factory Refurbished. They come fully boxed and sealed but may not include the original packaging.

Payment Terms

We accept online secure credit card payments Visa/Mastercard/Amex, bank deposits, bank cheques, Paypal and Safetrader (if buyer pays the safetrader charges). We don't accept personal or business cheques, unless by prior arrangement. An email with invoice number and payment instructions will be sent to you at the conclusion of the auction. Your login to view these details is your e-mail address and your password is your Trademe user name.

Please ensure you update your address details on our website or on trademe to ensure speedy delivery. Please note that if you are in a rural or RD location, a $2.50 courier surcharge applies.

Please ensure the invoice number or auction number is used as a reference against the bank deposit. If you do not put a reference number against the deposit it will take longer for your goods to be dispatched.

Tax/GST Invoices

All prices are GST inclusive. We are a registered company and will provide a G.S.T. Tax invoice for all purchases.

Shipping/Collection

Our preferred shipping option is Courierpost Overnight with signature required. Larger items such as Laptops and screens can be sent with PBT, and are overnight to the South Island and 2-3 days to the North Island.

All shipping/handling charges are stated in the auction detail.

We will combine freight on multiple purchases, excluding $1 reserve auctions which are delivery only. Contact us for a combined auction shipping quote.

Surcharges apply to rural areas. 

All items are securely packaged and well labelled. All packages are signature required and you should inspect the goods on arrival to verify the packaging/contents have not been mishandled. 

If you suspect that there has been damage in transit please inspect in front of the courier driver and contact us immediately so we can follow-up with them.

Warranty Policy:

Warranty periods are listed at the bottom of every auction. Extended warranties are available on all laptops, please contact us.

To arrange a return of an item under warranty, please contact us to arrange an RMA (Returns Merchant Authorisation). Any returns sent to us without an arranged RMA number will be rejected.

We will replace your item if it is found to be Dead On Arrival (DOA).

The Buyer must check their item immediately and report any damages or faults to the seller by e-mail within 48hrs of having received their item. Please specify the item title and invoice number. We reserve the rights to refuse any claims that are made after this time frame.

Buyer has the responsibility and expense of sending back any faulty items under warranty unless found to be DOA as above.

We do not accept any item return by COD. The return postage must be paid entirely by the Buyer.

We will repair the item where possible or send a replacement. Refunds will only be offered where a replacement is not available. This policy complies with the CGA.

All warranty claims must be made by the original buyer of the item. Warranty is not transferable beyond original buyer.

Warranty valid in New Zealand only.

We adhere to CGA & FTA as well as all of Trade Me's Terms and Conditions.


Warranty does not cover:

Physical Damage

Normal wear & tear

Damage from using goods for a purpose for which they were not designed.

Damage from neglect or careless storage

Damage from having unauthorised repairs carried out.

Refund Policy:

We do not offer refunds for items incorrectly purchased. If you wish to return an unwanted product we will charge a $10-$30 restocking fee and provide a store credit.

Original shipping fee is not refundable.

If a product is purchased due to an incorrect listing, or misinformation supplied on our part, we will do our best to provide you with the correct item, and process a refund if this not an option.
