About the Store

Mr G’s was established in 1986. We are a one stop shop for anything automotive, we stock the best brands and are always on the lookout for new and exciting products, our moto is RIGHT GEAR, RIGHT ADVICE. If there is anything you need that you do not see listed on our trademe store we will source the item and list it for you. Our goal is to bring the experience of shopping at an autoparts store, to an easy to use online platform. We aim to be trademe’s largest automotive specialty store.

We are authorised retailers for K&N, VHT, CENTURY, CRC, KING TONY, AGIP, FUSION, ACTIVATE, PRORACK, POWERBUILT, JVC, TRIDON, PIONEER, WILDCAT, SAAS, PROMA, MOMO, TROJAN, NARVA, DNA, GULF WESTERN, MOTHERS, ARMOR ALL, BARDAHL, MEGUIRES, VALVOLINE AND NGK to name just a few.

Layby
Layby is available on all products over $100. A minimum of 20% deposit is needed to secure item. Full payment must be made within 10 weeks of auction closing. Please ask before bidding.

Pickups
Customers are welcome to pick up their purchase at our store during opening hours.

G.S.T. Tax Invoices
We are a registered company and will provide a G.S.T. tax invoice.
Receipts are not sent unless requested.

Shipping
We ship all our goods using either PARCEL EXPRESS or NEW ZEALAND COURIERS. All items shipped from the premises have a track and trace number.

DAMAGE OR LOSS IN DELIVERY
We cannot accept liability for goods damaged or lost in delivery however we would gladly help or offer advice within our ability, please do inform us of the incident immediately.
We ship out your product as soon as we receive and confirm your payment. We aim to do this on the same day.

TRACKINGS OF PRODUCT
Track and trace is available on all parcels.

INSTALLATION SERVICES
We can put you in touch with professional workshops that can fit certain products. Most of the items we sell are DIY fitment and usually come with fitting instructions, we are happy to offer assistance and advice where possible. This service if for pickup customers only.

TRADEME FEEDBACK
We will place immediate feedback once the payment has been verified. We hope you would reply with a feedback to us once you have received your product.

Privacy Policy
All information that is discussed with you, associated with your purchase such as prices and offerings will be kept in the strictest confidence. We will not provide your details to any other party, unless required by law.

We will not refund if:

- You simply 'change your mind'.
- Item was 'not what you expected it to be' or 'not what you imagined it to be.

Items are sold as is Sale / Clearance Items.

If there's any dispute, we will handle the situation fairly into a win win situation. We will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act.

Customers are entitled to a full refund if product received is not as described on auction page.

We will post a positive feedback for every successful transaction.

Please email us to resolve any dispute prior to posting a negative or neutral feedback, we consider the transaction finalized once a negative feedback is posted. Further assistance or facility will automatically be withdrawn.

Customers are required to report to us any defective product between 7 days from date of received.

All our products come with a 6 month manufacturer / distributor warranty unless specified in auction.

Customers are required to ship the product back to us for any claims of warranty (at customer's cost).

We will inspect all returned products. If the product is found to be defective due to improper installation or misuse, the warranty will be declined automatically.

The buyer shall ensure that the goods ordered are fit and suitable for the purpose for which they are required and the seller is under no liability if they are not.

The buyer is entitled to only such benefits as the seller may receive under any guarantee given to the seller by the manufacturer of the goods.

The seller shall not be liable for consequential, indirect or special damages or loss of profits under any circumstances.

The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, negligent, inappropriate or improper operation, maintenance, installation, modification, adjustment or any attempt to repair the product.
