About the Store

New Zealand Automotive Distributors is a dedicated online automotive parts outlet servicing the whole of the country. We are New Zealand owned and operated. We source our parts from local wholesalers, engineers and overseas manufacturers and pass the savings on to you. We offer standard replacement parts and performance upgrade parts. We specialise in Clutches, Flywheels, Brakes, Big Brake Upgrades and Water Pumps but we are always expanding our range. We use our parts on our friends, families and our own cars so you can trust you are buying top quality parts. We've worked in the trade and have technical knowledge how our products work and can recommend solutions to your problems. We have access to a huge range of stock covering most makes and models. Payment Terms You will be sent an email straight after winning your auction with payment details and instructions. Payment must be made in full prior to delivery and a maximum of 3 days after auction closes (unless prior arrangement has been made). If you do not intend on completing the trade please just let us know. Payment Options Payment can be made via the methods below:
Please note that payments made over a weekend may not show in our account until Tuesday morning. Public holidays also may add an extra working day Please use your AUCTION NUMBER as a banking reference. To speed up your item being dispatched please email a confirmation email once you have made payment and where possible attach at confirmation receipt so we can get your items dispatched as fast as possible. Price / Invoice: All prices are GST inclusive and GST invoices are available on request Dispatch/Pickup/Freight NZAD prides itself on having one of the quickest dispatch times on Trademe, we know how having your car off the road can be a major inconvenience so try to get your items out as soon as possible. As of March 2010 NZAD will no longer be offering Local pickup, however we realise sometimes parts can be urgently needed so pickups can be made by arrangement. We are not liable for goods damaged or lost in delivery however we will work with you and the courier company to try resolve any problems. Please be very specific with your address details to aid the speed of your delivery. Feedback Please view our feedback. It gives good assurance of our customers’ opinions of our standard of service. We encourage feedback within the Trade Me community. We will place feedback on all completed auctions. If you are satisfied with your purchase we would appreciate you doing the same. Please email or call us to resolve any dispute prior to posting a negative or neutral feedback. Negative feedback does not help resolve an issue whereas a phone call will. We can be contacted on 0800 55 6923 Packaging NZAD tries very hard to help the environment by using recycled packaging/materials where we can, please do your bit at the other end by reusing, recycling or disposing of packaging and used components properly. Refund/Returns Policy: Please bear in mind we don't have your car in front of us so we can only work from the information you give us and the catalogue system we have available to us. Variations on parts for all models occur.
We take our Consumer Guarantees Act responsibilities seriously and do our best to provide service that goes above and beyond the Act's requirements. Warranty: OE/STANDARD REPLACEMENT CLUTCH KITS NZAD warrants all OE Replacement clutches to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service for 12months/10,000km from retail purchases on OE replacement clutches only. NZAD reserves the right to examine any part returned for warranty claim to determine to NZAD’s satisfaction whether such part is defective in material or workmanship. NZAD obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing, or crediting, at its option, any part proven defective. No labour, lift, service or storage charges will be reimbursed for any reason. Damage to NZAD’s parts resulting from misuse or abuse shall void this limited warranty. Any return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer. NZAD shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, including claims for delay, loss of profits, or labor. NZAD shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warranty. There are no other warranties expressed or implied extending beyond those set forth above. The Following parts carry a 6 month / 6,000kms warranty Water pumps Fan clutches Bearings Brake rotors Brake drums Hydraulics Hoses HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS, SERVICE AND INFORMATION EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY: Due to the unusual stress placed on high performance parts, and because of the circumstances under which they are often used, high performance parts are sold without warranty. We will warranty manufacturing faults and workmanship but will not cover failure due to abuse, incorrect fitment and adjustment. Any claim will be done so with NZAD and the final decision is the sole discretion of NZAD. Should a part be deemed faulty a replacement part will be issued under no circumstances will a refund be made. Labour and subsequent charges will not be covered. This includes but is not limited to Flywheels, Heavy Duty Clutches, Slotted Rotors. Privacy We respect privacy and confidentiality. Personal details you provide are appropriately treated. We are aware of our obligations and the trust you place in us.
