About the Store


Solitaire Marketing Ltd is a New Zealand based company that has been producing quality New Zealand Made products for over 12 years now, we have also been importing quality equipment from overseas for a number of years as well, we source only quality, affordable products and we test them before bulk purchasing, our equipment we sell all come with a 12 month warranty. We are always on the look out for new and exciting products to add to our already growing stock list.


Store Policies


Customer Service:

We are on site Monday to Friday and are available to contact by phone, fax or email to answer any questions or queries you may have, we would prefer you to email us though.

Tax/GST Invoices:

We are a GST registered company and provide a GST invoice with every purchase.

Warranty Policy:

Every product we sell has a 12 month warranty from date of invoice supplied
We will replace your goods if it is found to be Dead on Arrival (DOA)
The buyer has a responsibility to check the item immediately on delivery and report any damages or faults to the seller by email within 24 hours of receiving their item, when claiming please ensure you state your invoice number and description of the goods purchased. We reserve the right to refuse any claims that may be made after this time frame listed above.
The Buyer has the responsibility and expense of sending the faulty item back to Solitaire Marketing Ltd
Solitaire Marketing Ltd will make every effort to repair the faulty item where possible, if we cannot repair the item, we will send a replacement, we will only refund when we are unable to supply a replacement
All warranty claims are to be made by the original purchaser of the item, warranty is not transferable beyond the original buyer.
All accessories with items, e.g. Batteries, earphones, cables, bags, discs etc are not covered by warranty
Your invoice, buyer details delivery docket are required as proof of purchase
Warranty is only valid in New Zealand
Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Damage to item from using for a purpose for which they were not designed
Damage from neglect or careless storage
Damage from unauthorised repairs carried out to any of our products

Replacement Policy:

Buyers must check items for faults or damages immediately and report to the seller within 24 hours of receiving items, Solitaire Marketing Ltd reserve the right to refuse claims made after this time frame
Photos are required from buyer as proof of damage
It is buyer’s responsibility to check the package for any damage made from couriers before item is signed for, once buyer has signed courier ticket to say goods have been received in good condition; Solitaire Marketing will not be responsible for any damage caused by any freight company
Solitaire Marketing Ltd is liable for freighting any replacement warranty item back to the purchaser, except when the returned item is tested and found not faulty or not in the same condition that the purchaser stated, in which case the purchaser will be required to pay for return postage costs and the item will be sent back at purchaser’s expense
Goods must be returned with all accessories, instructions, original packing, cartons and boxes
Solitaire Marketing Ltd must receive all returns within 14 days of invoice date. We reserve the right to refuse claims made after this time frame

Refund Policy:

Refunds will only be offered on items that arrive Dead on Arrival, items that are defective and that we are unable to repair and/or replace with equal or greater functionality
Refunds will not be offered once item has been used
Refunds will not be offered if buyer changes their mind, or item is 'not what you expected'
Original Freight charges are non-refundable
All items must be returned to Solitaire Marketing Ltd for a full assessment BEFORE a refund will be issued
Refunds will not be offered if buyer cannot operate or assemble the item

The following applies to refunds offered under any/all circumstance other than listed above:

The goods must be returned at buyer’s expense using registered post or equivalent
Goods must be returned in undamaged packaging, with all accessories and parts
Solitaire Marketing Ltd reserve the right to refuse a refund if goods are returned in what we deem an unreasonable condition
Goods must be returned within 14 days of invoice date

Shipping:

Buyer has to pay shipping and handling fee
Deliberate selection of incorrect shipping option (including Main Centre when based in Rural Location) in order to avoid correct freight charges will result in voiding of auction and blacklisting
Items will not be shipped until Solitaire Marketing has received payment in full and has cleared
Our items are dispatched on same day as payment is deposited into our account and has cleared
Please allow 7 working days for delivery after payment has been cleared
Solitaire Marketing Ltd will email the courier track and trace number to the purchaser
We do not deliver to PO Boxes or nor do we use standard post

Packaging:

The quoted shipping cost includes Packaging, handling fess and insurance

Privacy:

The buyer details will not be passed onto any third party and we will take all reasonable steps to keep buyers details private and confidential.

Feedback:

We recommend that buyers leave their feedback after their items are received.
Please contact Solitaire Marketing Ltd first to fix any problems or issues before placing negative feedback, negative feedback does not solve any problem

Payment Methods:

At the close of the auction, you will be sent email instructions on how to proceed with payment options, full payment MUST be received within 7 days of auction closing and before goods are shipped. Pleas remember to tell bank tellers to include your auction number as a reference when depositing money into our account, our payment methods include: bank deposit, pay now, payment on pick up (cash only, no cheques on pick up), credit card option through Trade Me
