We can arrange delivery nationwide at cost, and are happy to give you a firm quote before you buy. Smaller items are sent by courier, and larger packages by carrier at the buyer's option. Occasionally, (eg to Waiheke Island) we will use N.Z. Post. Our goods are covered by Courier or Carrier's insurance, but our liability ceases once we have passed the goods to N.Z. Post or the carrier, and once they are delivered, they are at the buyer's risk. (Do not sign for them as received in good condition if there is visible damage to the box, unless you have inspected the content and they are O.K.)
All of our items are packaged in cartons suitable for either courier or carrier delivery.
Many of the items in our range require assembly by an adult and with some of the larger swing/slide sets and playpens, two adults may find it easier. If any problems are experienced with assembly, please contact us immediately.
Damaged or Defective Goods:
In the event of any goods being damaged in transit, please advise us and lodge a claim immediately with the carrier.
We will immediately replace or exchange goods if the item is defective or has been incorrectly described in the auction, provided we are advised within 3 days of delivery.
Return Policy and Warranty:
In the event that you are acquiring the product for purposes other than that of a business, then these conditions of sale shall be interpreted subject to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, to the intent that no provisions shall in any way limit your rights under the Act.
Provided goods have not been used and are returned undamaged in their original packaging, they may be exchanged within three (3) days of purchase, for items of similar value. Freight charges are not refunded. However, if the packaging has been damaged and the items as a consequence are not resaleable, we will decline the claim.
Our goods have varying warranty periods against manufacturing defects, and in the unlikely event of a major defect arising, our Company sells under the terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act. The warranty does not cover accident damage, wear and tear, abuse or neglect. At our option, we will repair, replace or refund.
The warranty periods against manufacturing defects are as follows:
Trampolines and other large outdoor play equipment costing over $300: 12 months.
Children's (not doll's) strollers, prams and car seats: 12 months.
All other toys and goods: 30 days
The following items are not covered by warranty: Batteries, trampoline pads and nets
Child care centres, kindergartens, toy libraries and others who have large numbers of children using these toys, should consult us first as to their suitability before purchase.
All of our outdoor toys are made from U.V. (ultraviolet) stabilized plastic, designed to extend the life of your toy. However, under New Zealand's harsh sunlight, especially if it is exposed for extended periods, some fading is to be expected, particularly with the brighter colours. We recommend that if possible these plastic items are stored when not in use, but if that is not practicable, then cover them with a tarpaulin. Do not expose them to ice or snow, and ensure children using them do not have sharp objects such as scissors, shoe buckles etc.
Under no circumstances does Pipsqueaks (NZ) Ltd, it's staff or suppliers, accept any liability for damages, loss or consequential loss resulting from any warranty claim.
Under NO circumstances will we pass your details on to a third party, and all information supplied to Pipsqueaks (NZ) Ltd is considered private and confidential.
