We sell a large range of NZ's most popular grocery items at wholesale/clearance prices. Our no nonsense approach to selling groceries online ensure that our customers love the fact they are buying goods cheaper, Making large savings and doing their bit to help the planet and therefore saving the environment. As well as protecting the environment Reduced to Clear has strong community values. We are always listening to our local community and have sponsored several community events. We are also involved with community fundraising. We sell groceries online that are:
Best Before vs. Used By or Expiry dates Reduced to Clear does NOT SELL products that are past their use by or expiry date. Products with these two versions of dates should not be eaten past these dates! *Please note that if a products use by date or expiry date has been labelled incorrectly we are able to sell this product - with the correct information shown on the product* There is a common misconception that all these dates have the same meaning. It couldn't be further from the truth. Best before is a date supplied by the manufacturer to be an accurate guesstimate to when the product will be at its 100% best by. In USA most products have a mandatory 6 month best before date. Regulations dictate when the product has a best before date not the quality of the product. Chocolate and lollies are still in top condition for at least 12 months if packed in the correct packaging. Sell for a lesser price or throw out ? We give that choice to our customers. Waste not want not! At Reduced to Clear we do frequent taste tests (one of the perks of working at Reduced to Clear) to ensure the food we sell in our grocery stores, and online grocery stores are up to standard – taste for yourself and we will give you 100% money back if you are not truly satisfied. Terms and Conditions of Sale By purchasing products from Food and Commodity Brokers (NZ) 2008 Ltd Trading as Reduced to Clear.co.nz & Reduced To Clear the purchaser ("The Customer"), agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply. Business Customers: The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to business customers (where "business" is as defined by the Act). Business customers agree that where products are purchased for the purpose of a business that the Act does not apply. Refunds:Email notification of a refund application must be received within 2 business days of goods being delivered. Refunds will be given at the discretion of company management. Addressing:If a product is found to be mis-addressed by Reduced to Clear then Reduced to Clear shall be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Reduced to Clear will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the Customer. Cancelling Orders: Reduced to Clear reserves the right to cancel orders that we believe to be fraudulent or constitute a mis-use or a promotional or marketing activity or where an error has occurred including but not limited to errors relating to pricing. Reduced to clear reserves the right to withdraw a sale if we have reason to believe the goods are going to a customer to then be re sold to make a profit .i.e. we do not sell to Dairies, Service stations, or any re seller for that matter. GST: For New Zealand delivery addresses, all prices are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated. Delivery Estimates: Reduced to Clear makes every effort practical to ensure that delivery timeframes given are accurate. Delivery time can vary depending on our freight company. General delivery times should be 1-2 business days, however rural deliveries may take longer. We also note that orders received after 12pm may not make the courier till the following day.
