Lesney No. 26
Been in accidents.
Wheels all good on one. But has part of its cement holding “thing” missing.
The other one has 3x wheels missing and had big accident with its cement holding “thing”.
Why there are 2x in the collection I have no idea.
Mum says these were all bought for my brother between 1957 and 1959, though perhaps a few were purchased in the early 1960s.
Over the years these cars, etc, have brought endless hours of enjoyment to many children so they are happily play-worn. They are what the are but I don’t want to throw them out - or leave them sitting in the ward-robe any longer.
