This beautiful "all porcelain" (head, body and limbs) doll is an artist original Jan McLean doll carefully manufactured by hand.
Although she is signed on the back of her head this is veryfaint and difficult to read. She was made in the year 1996 and was Nominee for the Dolls award of year excellence. Petunia 11 has beautiful smokey blue eyes
She comes with her own stand and she also has around her wrist the Jan McLean label showing her name and edition number.
"CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY"
comes with this doll. Each doll is made from the finest porcelain fired to 1220oC, then all her features are hand-painted between the next five china firings.
Moulded in her back are the words Jan McLean Orginal Dunedin New Zealand.
Each costume has the Jan McLean designer label sewn onto each garment.
There are two labels on her stand one is the for the Nominee and the other is the label for the Jan McLean Original. She is approximately 19 inches (48cms) in height.
Petunia comes from a smoke free home and is in excellent condition.
