This is an ideal set of Duplo Mini-figures for explaining to children why their parents are of different race.

e.g. Mum might be a Maori and Dad might be of NZ European decent.

If you buy the set, you don't have to say it is a Nuclear Family. It could in fact be a de facto relationship with a Blended Family, 1 child being from a previous relationship, etc... You pretend what you want it to be.

Or you could say, each of the 16 Minifigures is from a different country. To reflect the ethnic diversity of class-rooms, which are composed of many races, due to a large amount of immigration into NZ in recent years.

I'm sort of guessing that the 4 different Nuclear Families are of this ethnicity:

• White (NZ European).
• Black (African American or African continent).
• Yellow (Asian / South East Asian).
• Brown (Pacific Islanders).

This Duplo set has NOT been released in New Zealand. I am the only person in New Zealand who sells this set.
