Up for auction is this LEGO Brickset.

6970 Beta-1 Command Base is a Classic Space set released in 1980.

It contains a surface station with a short monorail track, a spacecraft, a rover and four Classic Space astronauts (two red, two white).

I have owned this rare LEGO brickset since 1980, and have only constructed the full set a few times. The box shows its age, but has been sealed with tape for many years in order to keep all pieces in place. It is a very rare set in its current state and a must have for any serious LEGO collector!

Item is located in Remuera. Pick-up is preferred, but I am willing to send if costs for postage are provided by the purchaser. I'm having a LEGO-arama this week, so check out my other items!
