Belt driven cars transfer motor torque in line with the chassis movement. This means that there is no 'torque steer' a.k.a unwanted turning of your drift car which is common with shaft driven cars where the shaft turns clockwise instead of neither left or right like in a belt drive system. This makes for more precise drifting.
