Ride-on Electric Sack Barrow

What you're looking at is not a master crafted machine but a totally DIY job. I am not a master welder so the joints have been welded over a few times. This machine uses all the components of a standard sack barrow such as the axle, wheels and main body. It is powered by a 400W 24v electric motor and two 7AMP 12v sealed lead acid batteries. This is not a speed machine(moderate walking pace) but can climb some fairly steep slopes. After testing in a variety of ways with two people (130kg total) and single person of 70kg up and down slopes and on grass the battery lasted over one hour on a single charge. The barrow uses a progressive throttle with battery indicator and a hydraulic disc brake.
