The TE1A Traction Engine is an attractive working steam model of a traditional English traction engine.

The TE1A model is a good copy of the original. In days gone by they were a portable powerhouse on the land as well as in the towns. The Mamod TE1A is of highly detailed metal construction with painted brass boiler, water level gauge, safety valve, working steam whistle and reversing lever. Supplied complete with removable canopy and steering extension rod. The spoked diecast flywheel runs a drive belt connected to the rear wheel. Exhaust steam is vented to the chimney for a realistic sound.
