~ Horikawa Tinplate Battery Operated Robot - Rotate-O-Matic Super Astronaut (With Box) ~

I am delighted to present you with this robot in the box and in perfect working condition 1960's Japanese metal body Robot, arms and head which are plastic on later versions.

This is one of best and most sought after vintage toy robots-The Rotate-O-Matic Super Astronaut. It has a plastic head and arms that rotates and swings. The body pivots right and left and two doors open on its chest revealing its guns which pop out of the body with flashing lights. It has rubber tracks on its wheels that propels it. It stands 11" tall and simply a super piece. This is over a $1,000US collectible toy Robot in the books.
It came from a great collection and was parted with under dire circumstances. It needs to go back into another collection where it will take its place as a key piece. We are asking fair money for it and obtained it from a colleague's private collection. If you are a serious mechanical Japanese toy collector this is a great opportunity to enrich your collection with one of the best Robots ever made.

The box has a length of 12.5 inches (31.5cm), width of 6 inches (15.25cm) and a height of 4.5 inches (11.5cm).
The robot has a length of 3 inches (7.5cm), width of 3.3 inches (8.25cm) and a height of 11.5 inches (29.25cm).

~ Condition ~

The box is worn, but full
The robot is in good condition aside from some small scratches and one of the front tin plates a little rust.
