Tiki Village is easy walking distance to the centre of Surfers Paradise where all the V8 Supercar action is. You'll be there for Practice on Friday the 24th, then enjoy all the raceday action on Saturday and Sunday, and you still have four full days to unwind after all the excitement. You can enjoy searching for the after event bargains of apparel etc. or if you prefer you can hit the beach for a relax, or if you need more excitement the Theme Parks are only a bus ride away.
