LUCY'S LUCKY CHANCE

Our lovely sister Lucy is battling metastatic breast cancer and has undergone surgery and several rounds of chemotherapy, with limited success. She is lucky to have been chosen for a world-wide drug trial of a very promising drug for women like Lucy. Unfortunately the trial is in Sydney, and will last up to 6 months. This is a big sacrifice for Lucy, giving up time with her husband Dean and 3 teenage children, but she is running out of options. Lucy's family and friends are raising funds to keep her in Sydney as long as is necessary. Apart from her Givealittle page, we are looking at other fundraising ideas.

We are auctioning nights at our little bach at Whangamata. The WhangaHilton is located near the harbour estuary, in a quiet cul-de-sac. The auction is for 2 nights for up to 8 people, including linen and cleaning. If the auction reaches over $300 I will also bake you a delicious carrot cake to enjoy while you are staying.
