Tory Lodge is surrounded by some of the best New Zealand attractions. Just 100 metres from the beach, the lodge is also close to the Queen Charlotte Track, bush walks, dolphin watching, and wine tours. As part of the activities at Tory Lodge you can also enjoy fishing, swimming or snorkeling. Explore the bay in a kayak or dinghy, take the opportunity to go sightseeing, bird watching, bush walking, and see our nearby waterfall or glowworms in the evening. Or just relax in our hot Cedar Tub.

Tory Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Nestled into a private inlet in the Queen Charlotte Sound, you really do feel like you've come to a special place. Tom and Des are fantastic hosts, and really went out of their way to make us feel special. They were also very pleasant company over a glass of wine - but gave us plenty of space when we wanted it. Our room was spacious, modern and clean, with a view out over the water. While we were there we went fishing, sea kayaking, swimming, and saw all sorts of wildlife. To top off a really enjoyable stay, as we headed off in the water taxi from their pier, we were surrounded by about 100 dolphins. A truly magical place! Matt & Glenn
