Budding fashionistas and eco-tycoons step right up for the chance to learn the tips and tricks of running a fashionable business with style.

Laurie Foon’s Starfish fashion label made its mark through thought-provoking ranges and campaigns with a community focus. Inspired to create fashion reflecting her values, Laurie designs ranges with locally manufactured fabrics where possible, and a strong environmental ethic. In 2007 Starfish was the first fashion label to win a New Zealand Sustainable Business Award.

Laurie’s winner will be sitting pretty at the chance to have a one-on-one mentoring session with Laurie, who’ll be happy to share her experiences running an eco-friendly, ethical company. The lucky auction winner will also receive an eco-bag full of Starfish goodies.

This auction is part of Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break 2012. All proceeds will support Oxfam’s work with struggling growers in the developing world, helping them to get a fairer and better deal and empowering them to work their way out of poverty.

Your Coffee Break with Laurie Foon will take place during Fair Trade Fortnight (May 5-20) or as near to these dates as possible, at a time designated by Laurie and organised through Oxfam. Every effort will be made to make this time mutually suitable. Any travel or accommodation costs incurred by the winner are at their own expense.
