This master class will be held in late August/early September – four days and three nights – with pick up and drop off from the Christchurch airport. We will travel from here to the Lake Ohau area, where hotel accommodation and meals are included.

The days of practical training are intense, inspirational and build confidence. Morning and evening photo sessions are broken up by seminars and group discussions led by the knowledgeable Valentine G. We will discuss both the creative and technical aspects of photography, such as aspects of composition, key ideas of the image, exclusive techniques in Photoshop, working with RAW files, HDR conversion, time lapses and long exposure, just to name a few.

Almost all modern cameras have a video. What can be done with it? We also plan to have a few lessons in a different direction – video sketches. This means you will be able to take home finished short landscape films. Same like a photo, but new technology and new impression!
