Bullswool Farm is in the Karangahake Gorge, near Paeroa.
We offer an unforgettable hands-on rural experience, set in beautiful farmland. Follow the walking tracks and get up close to our many rare-breed farm animals. All are friendly and can be handfed.
We have: emus, llamas, alpaca, deer, ducks, chickens, rabbits, gineau pigs, miniature horses, donkeys, miniature cattle, paint horses, gypsy cob horses, miniature goats, coloured sheep, kunekune pigs, and pygmy goats.
Our play areas have handcrafted structures designed and built by an award-winning sculptor, that delight children of all ages.
Pass includes our newly opened Gold & Kauri Heritage Museum and Bush Discovery Walk
Learn about native New Zealand birds, trees and aquatic life, and about the fascinating history of the Karangahake Gorge’s first miners and kauri bushmen.
