Soar in a two seat high performance glider over the spectacular Mackenzie Basin, take in the breathtaking scenery as you ride the air currents over Mt Cook and the Tasman Glacier (weather permitting).

Departing from Omarama, the world renowned gliding Mecca of the South Island your pilot will be 6 time National Champion Theo Newfield who holds 6 World Records, winner US Sport Class Nationals 2005 and who has competed at the highest level of gliding internationally.

Please note that you will not be able to redeem the glider experience during the National Championships 1st - 13th January 2013.

All money raised from this auction will go towards sending 4 year old Lachie to Sydney for treatment not yet available in NZ as he battles Neuroblastoma cancer.
