Follow the Burma Road from Mandalay to Lashio, return to Pyn-u-lwin by local train (day trip) before flying to Bhamo. Cruise down the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mandalay by charter boat and explore the “Golden Land” of Myanmar (Burma) with its spectacular archaeological site at Bagan and Inle Lake’s magical floating handcraft villages.
