Russell is one of NZ’s unspoilt gems, nestled in the heart of the Bay of Islands. It has 4 stunning swimming beaches, numerous tranquil coves & plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, sail, see dolphins or recharge your batteries.

The Holiday Park is located close to Russell, & set in 14 picturesque acres in a kiwi and weka protection zone, including a playground. It is a central base to discover the magic that is the Bay of Islands. The Cottage is standalone, private & self contained. Spacious decks with views over Orongo Bay & private courtyard with BBQ and enclosed by low gates – ideal for small children. Configuration is a separate bedroom with double bed. The lounge has a sofa, TV & a single bed, together with a set of bunks in an alcove off the lounge. The cottage sleeps up to 5 persons. Full kitchen with oven, hotplates, fridge etc. Bathroom. All linen/towels are provided. The cottage used to be the BOI Swordfish Club Headquarters before it was moved to the park.

The Swordfish Club located on Russell’s waterfront is steeped in history being the second oldest existing game fishing club in the world. This package includes a voucher for 2 main courses and 2 glasses of wine or beer at the clubhouse – a perfect place to relax with the locals, enjoy great food and a stunning view of the bay.

Travel the old trade route and Visit Historic Northlands most famous places – with entry for 2 adults into Clendon House, Mangungu Mission, Te Waimate Mission, Kerikeri Mission Station Tour and Russell’s own Pompallier House.
