Wanaka offers New Zealand's best snowkiting terrain and with our three-day Snowkite Package, you’ll be ripping up that untracked powder and vast terrain in no time. Our experienced and passionate kite instructors will teach you all you need to know to become a confident snowkiter. You’ll be up and riding on your board or skis before you know it! (no snowboarding or skiing experience is necessary, but it’s a plus).

Wanaka hosts the Wanakite Snowkite Freeride Event from the 25th to 31st of August, which you’re welcome to be a part of. Also included in our package is a visit to Cardrona to check out the FIS Snowboard Worldcup Halfpipe and to go snowboarding or skiing yourself. This is an opportunity for international and kiwi snowboard athletes to qualify for the Snowboard Halfpipe at the Winter Olympic in 2014. This season is the start of the Olympic build-up and all the top international athletes will compete at Cardrona to earn FIS points and improve their world rankings – it’s a great opportunity for the public to see snowboarding’s future stars along with a crazy array of new aerial manoeuvres and tricks!
