Beach right across the road. Nice bars & cafes withing walking distance. Half and hour to lovely Kerikeri, 20mins to Kawakawa where you can see the famous tiled toilets & the railway lines going right thru the centre of the township, 5 -10 mins to historic Waitangi and the Treaty House or catch the ferry in Paihia over to quaint Russell. Loads of tours & boat trips available. Hole in the rock, deep sea fishing, dolphin watching etc etc. Can get a discount if staying in the complex.
