For its age it is in very good condition. Boards have some rubbing and bumping to edges and some minor light marks. No jacket. Binding is tight with lightly tanned pages and light foxing. A large section has been cut out of the ffep - this could perhaps be removed all together for a neater look.

280 pages + colour frontispiece + 9 plates + 3 maps. Blue cloth covers with gilt lettering on spine. Contains extracts from the diaries and correspondence of three agents of the Church Missionary Society - Thomas Kendall, William Hall, and John King.
