Designed to measure the oscillation frequency of most crystal oscillators. Based on PIC microcontroller, can measure frequency from 1Hz to 50MHz. Five digits accuracy, for example: x.xxxx kHz, x.xxxx MHz, or xx.xxx MHz. Optional power-saving mode: can automatically turns the display off if the frequency didn't change significantly within 15 seconds. General USB interface can be used for power supply, external power supply or 9V battery also can be used. Very low component count: a PIC 16F628, 5 7-segment LED displays, a 20-MHz crystal and a few resistors. Simple construction, compact design, easy to install and debug.
