Made by 43S ASTRO in NZ, these straps give gentle heat to telescopes and camera lenses during high dew conditions at night. They have been sold internationally for over 15 years.

ADVANTAGES:

ROBUST straps made of laminated neoprene foam on a butyl rubber base. No cloth or sewn coverings which fray with time and use.

Power cord plugs into the strap, and can be removed to allow for easy storage without tangled cords.

Velcro mounted with elastic strap to fit different size optics.

The 1 m power cord plugs into the strap via a 2.1mm DC plug and connects to the power supply via an RCA plug. 1 meter extension cords are available.

The straps require 12V DC input, preferably using pulse width modulation (PWM, for duty cycle control) provided by commercial dew strap voltage controllers, such as Kendricks, Dew Buster etc, sold on the web. These voltage controllers have a variable output to allow matching of strap heat to the dew point on the optics.

Many lengths available. Lengths indicate available stretch of Velcro connection.
