Unlike most ginger jars this one is made from translucent porcelain rather than a heavier pottery. It is painted with a young lady seated by bamboo and blossoms. There is what I presume is a poem in Chinese characters - a different one on each side. Apart from a small rim chip it is in very good condition and it measures 110 mm high. No makers mark.
