D6278 - The Admiral by Royal Doulton. 26.5cm diameter. Outstanding condition, with just a few very minor marks to middle of face of plate - likely due to stack. No chips, cracks or crazing with the hand painted colours still as strong as the day they were applied. Quite a few Parsons and Doctors from this collectable series are knocking about, but Admirals are just a tad more difficult to source locally and let's face it - a man in a nautically pompous uniform ruled the waves after all.
