Muriwai Surf School is located on Auckland's beautiful West Coast only 35 minutes drive from the central city. We have a surf shed, located right by the beach in the Muriwai Regional Park.

This voucher is for a "Introduction to Surfing" group lesson that lasts 2 hours and includes surfboard and wetsuit rental. The lessons are held daily at 10.30am & 3.00pm. The voucher is valid for one year.

The Introduction to surfing lesson consists of equipment knowledge, rips currents and water safety, lying down to standing up, wave selection & catching, surfing

Muriwai Surf School offers qualified professional instructors in a fun and safe environment. You will learn everything you need to know to get you up and riding. We have a huge range of equipment and will match the surfboard and wetsuit to you and the days conditions.

Muriwai Surf School is a ISA (International Surfing Association), SNZ (Surfing New Zealand) and Water Safety NZ approved surf school which means we have the highest safety standards. Our coaches are in the water helping the whole time.

We have changing rooms, gear lockers, shower and all only a 2 minute walk from the beach. With over 150 surfboards and 250 wetsuits we will always have the perfect surfboard and wetsuit for the customer. In winter we have nice thick 4/3 sealed Rip Curl wetsuits which keeps everyone nice and warm.
