Wasting Light, the bands 7th record, was released this year and debuted at #1 in 12 countries (including Australia). The analogue recording processfrom this album has been captured here in 'Back And Forth.
The film is a chronicling of the highs and lows over the 16 years that the band has been in existence, from cassette demos to Grammys, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear intimately re-call every moment of the bands being.
Put simply, the film documents the career of the biggest rock band in the world. It is a true and often moving account of their career with no holds barred honesty that keeps you locked in for the 101 minute duration.
Whilst here promoting the new record, the Foo Fightersperformed charity shows in both Brisbane & Auckland in March this year, of which resulted in a cheque in excess of 1 Million dollars being written to both relief funds.
The movie had Australian cinema debuts for 4 days only, resulting in sold out sessions around the country in key cinemas. The Foo Fighters movie Back & Forth will debut on Australian TV on May 21st and 22nd across MAX and CHANNEL V.
The release includes 35 minutes of bonus extra footage.
