Sadly, our super-efficient Pharmacy Technician is leaving town so we are looking for someone special to fill her shoes. We are a sole Pharmacist Pharmacy with 2 other Technicians and a Retail Assistant serving a very friendly community in the suburb of Moturoa in New Plymouth.
Full or part time hours considered, no weekends, long shifts or public holidays.
This position involves general dispensary activities including processing and dispensing prescriptions, preparing blister packs via Alpaca robot and dispensary stock management.
The ideal candidate should have:
• NZ Pharmacy Technician qualification (level 4 or 5) or be a trainee with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in an NZ community pharmacy and working on the Level 4 qualification (essential).
• Experience with Toniq dispensary system and Alpaca Robot is an advantage.
• Be consistently accurate and a quick learner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build a strong rapport with customers and team members.
• A physically fit person who is confident, friendly and approachable.
• A willingness to cover both dispensary and front shop when required.
• Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
