About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager – Finished Products, you will manage the afternoon shift team (4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday) within the Powdercoat Department.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and optimising production processes to meet quality and safety standards.
- Leading and motivating your team to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Coordinating with planning and supply teams to meet delivery schedules.
About You
You are a hands-on leader with proven experience in powder coating or surface finishing.
You’ll bring:
- 5 years in a supervisory or management role within a production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive performance and motivate teams.
- Technical expertise in powder coating processes and quality standards (ISO9001).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate teams and schedules effectively.
