Global Stainless seek an experienced, multi-skilled, fabricator / welder to join our unique innovative team. We will also consider a talented Year 2 or 3 apprentice looking to expand their skillset with more diverse and challenging work.
GLOBAL STAINLESS LTD specialise in the fabrication of superior quality stainless steel spheres, and sculptures, designed by professional artists and sculptors from across the world.
Our industrial arm of the business specialises in double curved forming in stainless steel and mild/carbon steels including Domes, Dished and Flanged Ends, Long Radius Tube Bending, and, also, Knuckling, and Polishing, servicing Food Manufacturing, Industrial and Aero-space industries.
JOB OPPORTUNTY - STAINLESS STEEL FABRICATOR / WELDER
We are looking for a New Zealand based, multi-skilled fabricator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent hands-on skills in fabrication, welding, and machine tool operation with the ability to further develop and grow to support our innovative operation. Experience with using drafting software such as Solidworks or Autocad (while not necessary) would be advantageous in our small dynamic team.
The applicant MUST demonstrate the ability to fabricate and weld to a high standard so that our polishers can produce perfectly polished finished work.

Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience and if lifestyle is what you are looking for, we are located less than half an hour from New Zealand’s top surf beaches and less than half an hour from Mount Taranaki.
This role would suit an engineering enthusiast, an experienced contractor wanting stability of employment, or we will also consider trainee fabricators that can demonstrate that they have the capability and passion for engineering that is required from our dynamic team.
