Jones Group 2021 Ltd is the market leader in Quarrying in the Taranaki region.
Due to staff role changes and ongoing project workload coming up we are after the following:
- Someone who is experience in operating 3 rows of 8 heavy transporter - carting machines around the region and north island. We offer a 600hp plus Western Star tractor unit
- Someone who is also multi skilled and experienced class 5 truck and trailer operator with tipping and spreading experience for a wide range of work or alternatively must have good attitude and operate a range of trucks depending on the work type, from delivering to civil projects, Large roading projects (Mt Messenger / Round abouts / backcountry bottom dump spreading), farms and general public
- Keen to work extra hours when required and happy to backup long haul when needed
- Brixton based
- Local role undertaking a variety of work
Operator with the Ability to operate equipment such as Loaders and Excavators is an advantage.
The successful applicants will have:
- Class 5 license
- A good attitude to Health and Safety and life in general
- Be reliable, dependable and a team player
- Good time management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different situations throughout the day
- W,T,R endorsement and experience is an advantage.
- BESS qualified - if not will put operator through course
