Cafe Botannix New Plymouth inside Palmers Garden Centre is all about fun and life’s little rewards. It’s this philosophy that brings customers back time after time. Our café is set in a gorgeous garden setting and is located on the main State Highway 3 in and out of New Plymouth to the North.
About the role
This is a full time permanent role, with minimum of 38 hours per week. You will ideally have at least 5 years experience working in a high-volume environment where there is a huge focus on quality and customer experience. You will have exceptional product knowledge, be confident in delivering consistent, outstanding cafe fare. You will also be an awesome team member and have a passion for customer service to build a rapport with not only your team mates but the customers.
We are open 7 days a week, so weekend work will be required.
Hourly Rate: Between $25 to $30 per hour.

There is no evening work and pay rate is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
Skills and experience
You will need to be able to deliver visually appealing cabinet food including baking. You will need to be fast and efficient in the kitchen when producing cooked items off our breakfast and lunch menu. You may on some shifts be required to work as the sole chef so experience in this area will be highly valued.
